Cake:
2 sticks BUTTER
1 c. sugar
1 Tbl. Baking Powder
1 3/4 c. unbleached flour
4 eggs
1/4 cup Lemon Juice and Zest of One Lemon
Soaking Liquid:
3/4 c. sugar
grated zest and juice of 4 lemons
Glaze/Guss:
2 c. powdered sugar
few tablespoons lemon juice
grated lemon peel
