1/4 cup molasses (Grandma lets a little extra run into the batter)

2 cups flour

2 tsp. baking soda

1/2 tsp. salt
•
1 tsp. ground cinnamon (Grandma lets a little extra overflow from the spoon)

1/2 tsp. ground cloves
•
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
•
1/2 cup white sugar (for rolling balls of dough)
