1 tablespoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1 cup unsalted butter, (room temperature (2 sticks))
•
1 cup light brown sugar, (packed)
•
1/2 cup granulated sugar
•
2 large eggs, (room temperature)
•
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
•
3 tablespoons heavy cream
•
2 tablespoons warm water
•
2 cups powdered sugar
•
you may substitute milk for the cream - start with 3 tablespoons then add more milk if needed
