INGREDIENTS
2 ¾ cups (308g) cake flour
1 ½ teaspoon (6g) baking powder
1 teaspoon (5g) salt
¼ teaspoon baking soda
⅔ cup (125g) granulated sugar
2 tablespoons (28g) unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 tablespoon (12g) vegetable shortening, at room temperature
3 large egg yolks
¾ cup (180g) sour cream, at room temperature
1 teaspoon (5ml) distilled white vinegar
3 cups (390g) powdered sugar, sifted
⅓ cup +1 tablespoon (94ml) milk
1 tablespoon (15ml) corn syrup
2 ½ teaspoons (12ml) pure vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon salt
