INGREDIENTS
⅓ cup (71 g) granulated sugar
⅓ cup (61 g) packed dark brown sugar
¾ tsp ground cinnamon
⅛ tsp table salt
8 tbsp (4 oz or 113 g) unsalted butter, melted and still warm
1 ¾ cups (200 g) cake flour
Scant ⅓ cup full-fat sour cream
2 tbsp milk
1 ¼ cups (145 g) cake flour
½ cup (100 g) granulated sugar
¼ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp table salt
6 tbsp (3 oz or 85 g) unsalted butter, cut into 3 pieces, softened but still cool
1 large egg
1 large egg yolk
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
½ cup (173 g) Nutella or other chocolate hazelnut spread
Confectioners’ sugar, for dusting
