phyllis mcdaniel

my grandson, whom is, or was at the time this was made, was 4 yrs. old, big into hot wheels, ask me, "nana, can you make me a hot wheels blanket", being the sucker that i am, this is the finished product. if, you notice, his photo is in the center. all car photos are of hot wheel cars. this has a prairie point binding.

ink-jet fabric sheets
fabric, of your choice, depending on the size quilt your making
sewing machine(unless you want to tackle this sewing by hand)
thread, to match your fabric
quilt batting

1first, i selected the hot wheel photos i wanted to work with off of the computer, then with the ink-jet sheets, i printed the photos, along with brody's photo, proceeded to cut out my fabric, to meet the spec of my quilt, sew the top together, layered the layers, top, batting, backing, then finished off with the prairie point edging.
time span on this about a month.
