You've Been BOOed! Halloween BOO Poem and Signs This is a great tradition that is making it's way back into the burbs again this year. Start about two weeks before halloween and hopefully by that gastluy eve everyone will have their boo signs happily displayed To carry out a BOO, one neighbor secretly leaves a small gift basket, a BOO poem, BOO instructions and a BOO sign at a neighbor's doorstep. The BOO-ee is asked to post the sign near the door, alerting others that "We've Been BOO-ed!" In turn, the neighbor is asked to BOO two other households, leading to a chain reaction--and Halloween fun.

Ingredients

  • 1 - basket with halloween goodies.
  • - ribbon with halloween theme to tie on basket
  • 1 - we've been boo'ed sign
  • 1 - halloween poem
  • - instructions on what to do next

How To Make halloween boo!

  • Step 1
    In a basket put halloween goodies, a sign and a poem, and instructions.
  • Step 2
    Above you will find two signs you can use or make up your own. Attach a stake to the sign so they can post it in their yard. Below is a poem I made up or feel free to find or create your own.
  • Step 3
    INstructions: You have just been Boo'ed! This makes you a special person and an wonderful neighbor. Please post this sign in your yard so others know you were already boo'ed. Also please do the same for a neighboor or two that you think are special. Do not pick a neighbor that has already been boo'ed. We hope to have everyone Boo'ed by Halloween. Have a scary great day.

    Poem Hey! Joe! On all hallows eve, when all is a stir. And life as you know it all is a blur, Think twice before you yell, Hey! Joe!, Are his feet off the ground and clear or white as snow. Does he stand on the ground or up in the air. Better think twice before you dare. For on all hallows eve not all is as seams. Better hold on to your hat and your dreams. You think that trick or treating is always the same. But this time you might not end up the way that you came. For the veil is now thinner and easier to cross, so spirits that once were thought loss, can come and jump into your body, then give you a toss. Soon a Priest will be dousing you with holy water, and spouting some gibbous. The thought of it all as left me all shiverous. So think twice before you yell to a friend that you know or a spirit you may soon have in tow. Never , Never yell" Hey! Joe." By Stormy Stewart
