My dogs just love these, when I make them. A friend of mine got me started on making my own treats for my dogs. They are much less expensive then store bought ones.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp
    corn oil, (vegetable oil) can also be used
  • 1/2 c
    creamy peanut butter
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1 c
    whole wheat flour
  • 2 c
    white flour

How to Make Peanut Butter Bones your favorite pooch

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine Oil, Peanut Butter, add water ,add flour 1 cup at a time and knead into a firm dough. roll dough into a 1/4" thickness and cut with cookie cutters (any shape) or a round biscuit cutter also works well. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees in a pre-heated oven. for about 20 to 25 min. makes about 2 1/2 doz.
