How to Make Fall Flavored Face and Body Beauty Treatments

Step-by-Step

  1. CRANBERRY TONER
Mix all ingredients and pour into a recloseable bottle. After you wash and dry your face, pour the toner on a cotton pad and sweep over your T-zone (forehead, nose;chin) for blemish control.
Keeps for 1 week in the fridge.
BENEFITS: Cranberry kills acne-causing bacteria; has anti-inflammatory benefits that help reduce acne swelling.
  2. CHOCOLATE PECAN PIE SCRUB
Place pecans in a food processor and blend until fine. Mix all ingredients until a lumpy paste forms. Place in a recloseable jar. In the shower, massage gently over damp skin with circular motions. Rinse and pat dry. Keeps 4 weeks.
BENEFITS: Softens skin; pecans contain oleic acid, a deeply hydrating moisturizer. Cocoa powder contains flavonois that are skin firming and increase the skin's elastin and collagen production.
  3. PUMPKIN PIE MASK
Gently mix all the ingredients until creamy. Smooth over a clean , damp face, avoiding eyes and mouth. Relax for 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. Yields 1 application.
BENEFITS: Pumpkin is full of exfoliating enzymes that reveal baby soft skin.
  4. APPLE CIDER FACE SCRUB
Mix both ingredients until they form a paste. Massage gently over clean, damp skin with circular motions. Rinse and pat dry.
    Yields 1 application.
BENEFITS: Tart, crisp apples contain lots of malic acid that deeply penetrate your skin-refining its texture and reducing discolororation from acne scars; or sun damage, leaving your complexion bright, even and glowing.
  5. SAGE HAIR RINSE
Bring the water to boil; remove from stove top. Drop in sage, cover and steep for 15 minutes. Strain the water into a small mist bottle and pour in the vinegar. After shampooing, mist the rinse through you hair and on your scalp, relax for 10 minutes, then rinse.
    Yield 1 application.
BENEFITS: Sage helps reduce hair loss, soothes the scalp; helps remove product build up so your hair looks fuller.
