One of the best tools for getting kids in tubs. Then the only concern is getting them to come out again.

prep time 25 Min
cook time 15 Min
method ---
yield 1 kid

Ingredients

  • 1 cup soap flakes
  • 1/4 cup boiling water
  • - food coloring
  • - ice cube trays (i like the ones for water bottles long round cubes) or small molds

How To Make soap crayons for kids

  • Step 1
Drop the water into the flakes, one teaspoon at a time, stirring constantly. It will be thick and hard to stir.
  • Step 2
Spoon some of the soap into different bowls and color each with the food coloring until it has the consistency of thick paste.
  • Step 3
Press spoonfuls into the ice cube trays or molds and microwave on low for 15 minutes to dry the crayons out. Let them dry at room temperature for several days and give it another day after unmolding.
  • Step 4
    The kids will love these!!
