Use 1-2 tablespoons per load. I typically use 1 tablespoon for regular loads, 2 tablespoons for extra large or extra dirty loads. I also use vinegar as a fabric softer and it takes out smells too.

How To Make powdered laundry soap

Step 1

grate the bars of Fels-Naptha. the smaller you grate it the faster it will dissolve.

Step 2

Mix everything together very well.
Step 3

store in a tight container to avoid moisture.
