Every cookbook should have at least one recipe "for fun'. Remember those bubbles we had when we were kids? All the bubbles were the same size and shape. Now we have huge containers filled with bubble juice. But to really have fun with this, you still turn your face to the sun, gently blow through the wand and smile at the wonder of it all.Source: unknown

How to Make Monster bubbles for the kiddies

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix together in a large bowl the above ingredients. Store in a large plastic container or jug. Pour into a shallow container when ready to use.
  2. To make wands, you'll need 18 inch pieces of wire (coated coat hangers work really well for this), dowel sticks, with a small hole drilled in the end and some bright ribbon
  3. Form a wire into the desired "cookie cutter" shape, such as stars, hearts, etc. Bring both ends of the wire back down to the bottom to insert into the hole of the dowel stick. you may use a small amount of hot glue to secure the wire. Tie a bright ribbon around the stick. These make great party favors or "tie ons" for birthday packages.Enjoy!
