• Step 1
  Fill washer with water.Hot for whites or Warm for colors. Add ingredients. Let the machine agitate to dissolve powders. Add your clothes or linens. Let them swish around a little and then stop the machine. Soak 8 hours or as long as you can stand it. Overnight for really bad stains. Turn machine back one and launder as usual. Rinse 2 times.
• Step 2
  For old antique quilts use the mixture for colors. Hang to dry.
• Step 3
  For stains with blood, grass or wine stains you can add 1/2 cup hydrogen peroxide or oxy-clean.
• Step 4
  Repeat process if necessary. Do not put in the dryer until all the stains are gone. Heat from dryer will set the stains.
