How To Make make your own homemade laundry detergent

  • Step 1
You’ll shred the Fels Naptha bar into little flakes. Best way I found to do this is with a cheese grater. My sister in law uses a potato peeler. Mix it all together and you're ready. You use about 1 to 2 Tbsp. per load. It has a really nice smell, too. I stored my mix in an airtight container to start out but now I just leave the lid off because it gives the whole laundry room a nice smell.
