Making your own laundry detergent is so easy ! You won't believe how well it cleans and how little it costs to make. A little goes a long way. You only use 1-2 tbsp per load ! I found everything I needed to make this at Walmart in the laundry soap isle.

Ingredients

2 cups borax ( i use 20 mule team)
2 cups super washing soda ( i use arm & hammer)
1/2 cup baking soda
2 - bars laundry soap ( fels naptha, zote, or octagon )

How To Make laundry detergent, millie's

Step 1

In large bowl add all the powdered ingredients and mix.

Step 2

Grate the two bars of laundry soap.
Step 3

Add grated soap to the powder mix and combine. You can transfer to a container and use it as is or you can whiz it in your food processor to make it a finer texture... I like to give mine a whiz.
Step 4

USE 1 - 2 TABLESPOONS PER LOAD ! *DO NOT BE ALARMED BECAUSE THERE ARE NO SUDS... PRODUCT WILL CLEAN YOUR CLOTHES.
