homemade window cleaner
(1 RATING)
I used to get a foam cleaner at a dollar store, and could not find it anymore, so, I used what I thought I smelled in the cleaner and the way it worked, and made this cleaner. That was 10 years ago,and still prefer mine, and the price to make it.

Ingredients
- 4 ounces lemon or plain ammonia
- 8 ounces rubbing alcohol
- 1/8 teaspoon dawn dishwashing liquid (for degreasing)
- - distilled water to fill
How To Make homemade window cleaner
-
Step 1Pour ammonia and alcohol into one quart sprayer bottle. Add the Dawn and finish filling the one quart sprayer with distilled water. Put on sprayer and gently rotate to mix until everything is blended. I have soft water, but use distilled to insure that there aren't minerals in the cleaner.
-
Step 2Use for clean windows. I like this much better than vinegar cleaners.
