How To Make diy liquid fabric softener
-
Step 1In a large stock pot add baking soda. Then add water, stir to disolve baking soda. "Slowly" add vinegar, very slowly! The baking soda and vinegar will bubble up ALOT. once your done adding the vinegar, stir till the soda is dissolved.

Step 2Transfer to a gallon jar or I use an old costco downy jug, this recipe fills it perfectly! I use about 1/4 cup per load in my downy ball, it works amazingly well. You can add essential oils if you like to add scents. Just make sure if you add the oils to shake before each use! Note- I use the old costco downy jug, so mine always has just a little bit of a downy scent!
