homemade fabric softener
(2 RATINGS)
You can use any scent of hair conditioner you choose. I usually buy Suave because it's the cheapest.

Ingredients
- 6 cups hot water
- 2 cups hair conditioner (any scent you choose)
- 3 cups white vinegar
How To Make homemade fabric softener
-
Step 1Heat water until it's hot but not boiling.
-
Step 2Add conditioner and stir with wire whisk to mix well. Stir until conditioner is completely dissolved.
-
Step 3Add vinegar, stir to mix well.
-
Step 4Allow to cool before placing in bottle (I use an old, one gallon, vinegar bottle)
-
Step 5Place softener in washer like you would any other liquid softener. You can use as little as 2 tbsp. but I like to use at least 4-6 tbsp!
