There are several ways to treat dandruff...here are two recipe. If you look at commercial dandruff treatments you will see that many treatments contain salicylic acid. Guess what that is? Aspirin. Now that you know, you can make your own salicylic acid dandruff shampoo. Shampoo and leave on for three to five minutes, then shampoo again and rinse thoroughly.Source: Unknown

How To Make gentle basic shampoo

Step 1Mix well. Store in bottle and label with name and make date. Shelf life 6 month Use this recipe to form a basic shampoo. This base recipe can be used to craft other custom shampoos. Custom Basic Shampoo for dry hair or scalp: to every 6 to 8 oz. of basic shampoo, add 1 tsp. grape seed oil or jojoba oil. Shake before using, as oil may settle form time to time. Store in container and label with name and date. Shelf life: 2 to 3 months. These two oils work best with the basic shampoo recipe. They’re also great for moisturizing the scalp.

Step 2custom Salicylic Acid Shampoo, for dandruff control: 6 to 8 oz. basic shampoo, see above 3 to 4 crushed aspirin 3 to 4 Tbsp. water Crush aspirin. Liquefy aspirin by dissolving in the water. Add it to the base shampoo or your favorite shampoo.Store it in a new/reused container if not adding to your purchased shampoo. label the container with name and make date. Self life: 3 to 4 months.

Step 3Tea Tree, Rosemary and ginger (Awapuhi) Shampoo: 6 to 8 oz. basic shampoo, see above 14 to 16 drops oil or extract (one or a combination: 6 drops tea tree extract 4 drops rosemary extract 4 drops ginger essential oil Mix oil with basic shampoo. Store in container labeled with name and make date. Shake well before using. Shelf life: 6 months
