let sit in pail a few days thencover soap and put in a tight fitting container to prevent drying out. The mix may look seperated at first but will eventually absorb and will be beautifully crumbly by stiring. Only make one batch per pail. After a few days you can put in a 5 gallon pail ( with other pails you have made) to cure.

(Meaning of word) Tallow is a rendered form of beef or mutton fat, processed from suet. It is solid at room temperature. Unlike suet, tallow can be stored for extended periods without the need for refrigeration to prevent decomposition, provided it is kept in an airtight container to prevent oxidation.
