After many years of telling my husband, if you see something thrown to the curb and it has possibilities STOP AND PICK IT UP! Well he came home with these two treasures, boy were they in bad shape! I finally decided to make them Halloween chairs " I am a total Halloween and Christmas freak". The finish product's had a place in our home till one of my grand-babies came over to go trick and treating, and needless to say they both ended up going home with her. I mean how can a grannie say no when she say's oh grandma I just love these!!!!!

How To Make trash to treasure!

Step 1

This is what they looked like....kinda yucky huh? I took these apart completely and then sanded down the wood.

Step 2

once I had that done, i did several layers of stain.
Step 3

followed by two layers of sealer. I let that dry for several days.
Step 4

I stapled new padding on, and then used some Halloween material I got at Joann's " love that store".
Step 5

And the rest as we say is history. I just love crafting!!!!!
