recipe repository tip

I never met a Recipe I didn't like! As such, I'm continually copying all kinds of recipes from sites like Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, Taste of Home etc etc...Having lost a hard drive and what must have been hundreds of hours of copying work. I went "Hmmmmmmmmm!!!" Now, anyone using Gmail probably knows how terrifically quick the search feature is, right! I set up a special account there...Now when I copy any recipe, I do it in an email and send it to gmail. Doesn't matter if my hard drive decides to pack it in. They're backed up there. YES, I guess I could conceivably have a problem w/ that account, but haven't in over three years. Now, if I can't find something I'm looking for on my own comp, I go there and punch in the mail search...BINGO! I then forward it to my regular email and get ready to fire up the kitchen. Hope this idea helps someone...I lost over 1,000 recipes in a crash onest and a grown man like ME sobbing is not a pretty sight!!! LOL
