My kids always thought it was pretty neat that their mom knew how to make play dough and that they got to create their own colors for it. And then of course came the hours of fun!! NOTE: NOT FOR CONSUMPTION

Ingredients

1 cup flour
1 cup water
1/2 cup salt
2 tablespoons cream of tartar
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- food coloring

How To Make play dough

Step 1

Mix all ingredients together. Cook in a pot, stirring constantly until a mass is formed in the pan.

Step 2

Turn it on a plate and cover with a damp cloth. Let cool.
Step 3

Separate dough and create your own colors.
Step 4

Store in refrigerator.
