I bought 3 decorative plates on sale. Had a heck of a time finding a plate hanger that would hang these plates straight against the wall because of the odd "lip" on back (probably why they were on sale). They sat on the counter with the "To-Do-Note" attached for hubby.... only there for a couple of months (blush). Every conventional plate hanger would not work - bulldogs, metal plate hanger, expensive and cheap hanging aparatus. Ding Ding Ding the lightbulb went off.... why not super-glue a hanger on the back. I used a large paperclip, if you can believe that. Ta-Da! Worked great!

  • 3
Attach a large paperclip in the glue, spreading with a toothpick to make sure all sides of clip is covered and adheres to plate. Make sure you leave the paperclip unglued at the top opening overhanging the lip of the plate so you can hang it off a nail on your wall.

Allow to dry completely - hang your plate on the wall. Simple Simon when you're in.... (are you ready for this?) "JUST A PINCH" to hang a plate..... or, in my case three plates.
