I found this in a church cookbook! I got really tickled and thought my fellow foodies might like a good laugh as well. Please don't attempt this recipe at home! lol

Ingredients
- 1 large elephant
- 2 - rabbits (optional)
- - salt and pepper
- - brown gravy
How To Make mother's elephant stew

Step 1Cut elephant into small bite sized pieces, this will take about 2 months.

Step 2Add enough brown gravy to cover.

Step 3Cook over a large fire for 4 weeks.

Step 4This will serve about 3,000 people. If more are expected, 2 rabbits may be added, but do this only if necessary, as most people do not like to find hare in their stew!
