Everyone says mom made visitors feel welcome by having a bowl of her potpourri on the nightstand and a piece of chocolate under their pillows. She always loved to grow her own flowers, and put whatever petals from her garden into this recipe.

How to Make Mom's Potpourri


  1. Spread petals on window screen and dry 3-5 days. Put petals in large jar with a lid and add salt. Shake well and let sit about a week. Add cloves and mace. Shake again and cover. Let sit another 2-3 weeks.
