homemade cake release ( cake goop)
I found this on the internet by accident. The website had tested 6 different recommended ways to get a bundt cake to release. This goop was said to release perfectly, better even than shorteneng with flour dusted on top.

- EQUAL AMOUNTS:
- flour
- oil
- shortening
How To Make homemade cake release ( cake goop)

Step 1In small mixing bowl put ingredients and whisk together until smooth. I use 1 cup measurements.

Step 2Pour mixture into container. I used a wide-mouth canning jar. This made about 2-1/2 cups.

Step 3To use dip a bristle brush into jar and paint on all inner surfaces of pan. Just a thin coat but be sure no spots are left dry. Follow cake recipe as always.

Step 4This can be stored for 6 months in fridge.
