Mom used to do this for my first puppy, King. I would suggest caution with regard to sodium in anything you add, as it is not good for canines.

Freeze leftover meat. Freeze leftover veggies. In a pie plate, put leftover meat and veggies when you have enough to fill. Can add cheese if you want. Then fill with milk. Freeze solid. Take out a few minutes to slightly thaw, then let the dog enjoy!
