1971 moved to farm and city girl only knows how to cook. Our electric would be out quite a bit in the winter so we had to make candles. Now I make them with soy for the longevity of the burning and the safety of the fumes.

Ingredients
- 1 pound block of soy wax
- 3 dashes essence, depends how weak or strong you want
- 3 dashes food coloring, depends what color you want
- - cut the size of wick for your container
How To Make homemade soy candles non-edible

Step 1Melt the soy wax and stay with it while it melts. Stay with it while its melting. Take off the stove and add the food coloring and cool a little and add the essence. After pouring the wax lay the wick inside leave some to be able to light. Use what containers you have or you can buy molds. Easy and fun
