Skin Soothing Bath

I find this to be a soothing and healing treatment for eczema, psoriasis, poison ivy, etc. I am a life-long eczema sufferer. We always spent summer vacations in Fla, and my eczema was always better after spending days in the ocean. This is a way to get the sea-water effect at home, along with the addition of soothing herbs and moisturizing oil. These are the proportions I've come up with, that seem to help me. You can adjust as necessary.

How to Make Skin Soothing Bath

  1. Run a very warm bath, adding all of the ingredients. Swirl the water to dissolve the salt and baiking soda. Soak for 30 min. Pat dry and moisturize with additional oil.
  2. *I stock up on sea salt when I find it inexpensively at places like Big Lots or TJ Maxx. You can also order it in bulk online.
