After a hard day, what more calming and relaxing than a bath scented with Lavender. This not only calms the body with the scent of lavender and relaxes you, but it also calms the skin. So nice to do this close to bedtime to help soothe you.

Ingredients For lavender bath

  • 1 c
    dried lavender flowers
  • 2 c
    oatmeal
  • 1/2 c
    baking soda

How To Make lavender bath

  • 1
    Place the ingredients inside a food processor or blender. Grind to a smooth, fine powder. The powder should have the consistency of whole-grain flour. Pour into a clean, airtight container or resealable plastic bag. To use, pour 1/2 cup into your bath as you fill the tub for a soothing end-of–the-day treat. (Makes 31/2 cups, enough for seven baths.)
