INGREDIENTS
1/2 teaspoon sugar (for proofing)
1 1/2 cups lukewarm water (for proofing)
2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast (1 packet)

3 1/4 cups plus 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour, divided
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup cornmeal (preferably coarse)
