How to Make Mustard Greens
- 1Pick over greens, carefully, removing any roots, woody stems, or blemished leaves. Wash 2 -3 times in cool water to remove all grit and sand.Break leaves into bite sized pieces or chop fine. Place in a large pot, add water and salt, cover, and simmer until tender: 10 -15 minutes. Drain, add pepper and drippings and toss to mix.
