1 1/2 lbs Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved lengthwise
4 tbsp olive oil, divided
1 1/2 tsp salt, divided
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1 lb mushrooms of choice, cut into 1-2 inch pieces
1 cup dry white wine
1/2 cup heavy cream
freshly ground black pepper to taste
2 tablespoons fresh chives
