1/2 cup finely chopped pecans

2 cups finely grated carrots

for the mascarpone frosting:

3 and 1/2 cups powdered sugar
•
8 oz. mascarpone cheese
•
2 Tablespoons butter, softened
•
2 teaspoons white vanilla
