Mom's spaghetti Sauce

"The best!..."

INGREDIENTS
¼ cup olive oil
4 tablespoons (½ stick) butter
1 pound ground beef
4 medium onions, (chopped)
4 medium garlic cloves, (finely chopped)
salt and pepper, (to taste)
celery salt, (to taste)
1 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary
1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
½ cup fresh Italian parsley, (chopped finely)
½ cup dried mushrooms, (soaked in 1 cup of hot water, then chopped (save soaking liquid))
One 32-ounce can whole tomatoes, (mashed with liquid)
Six 8-ounce cans tomato sauce
1½ cups water
1 cup white wine
1 teaspoon granulated white sugar
