Mom's Easy Traditional Italian Meatballs

"Homemade Traditional Italian Meatballs, made in a delicious tomato sauce, can be served with pasta or as a main dish. So good with baked with some shredded mozzarella cheese. The whole family will love these tasty Meatballs...."

INGREDIENTS
3-4 slices of bread ((remove crusts, I use day old Italian and if it is extra thick use 2 slices))
1 pound lean ground beef
2 eggs
1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon parsley
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1 clove of garlic minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cups tomato puree
1 teaspoon basil
1 clove garlic chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons oregano
2 1/2 cups water
