INGREDIENTS
1 15.25 oz. box Lemon Cake Mix (I used Better Crocker Super Moist Cake Mix/pudding in the mix)
3 large eggs (room temperature)
1/2 cup (I stick) unsalted butter, melted
1 cup buttermilk (see substitution in notes)
1 large lemon, zested
1/3 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
1/3 cup sugar
