Ingredients

  • 4 lg. Green peppers
  • 10 C. Boiling water
  • 2 C. Ground Meat Mix* thawed
  • 1 1/4 C. Crushed potato chips
  • 3/4 C. Buttermilk
  • 2 Eggs (beaten)
  • 1/4 C. Ketchup
  • 1/4 tsp. Poultry seasoning
  • Paprika

How To Make mind-blowing stuffed green peppers

  • Step 1
    Slice the tops off the large green peppers; remove seeds and rinse peppers. Place peppers in a container large enough to allow them to sit upright. Pour in enough boiling water to cover peppers. Cover and let stand for 10 minutes. Remove parboiled peppers and drain; sprinkle cavities with salt. In a medium size mixing bowl, combine the thawed Ground Meat Mix*, 1 cup of the crushed potato chips, buttermilk, eggs, ketchup, and poultry seasoning. Fill pepper cups with the meat mixture. Place filled peppers in an 8x8x2 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining potato chips and paprika.
