Ingredients

cup sugar
1/3
cup water
1/3
cup honey
1
teaspoon finely shredded lemon peel
1
tablespoon lemon juice
3
inches stick cinnamon
1
whole clove
Directions
1. In a small saucepan, combine sugar, water, honey, lemon peel, lemon juice, cinnamon stick, and clove. Bring to boiling, stirring constantly to dissolve sugar. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Cool completely before dipping cookies.
