INGREDIENTS
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons (3/4 stick) chilled unsalted butter, cut into pieces
1/2 cup toasted chopped pecans
3/4 cup whipping cream
2 large egg yolks
1 1/4 teaspoons maple extract
1 egg, beaten to blend with 1 teaspoon water (for glaze)
