Maple Bacon Sundae Topping
"There was a Column in the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel called "By Request". They were asking for desserts using bacon. I submitted mine and they printed it. This was devised from my love of maple flavored bacon and butter pecan ice cream. Yummy. Even eaten by itself...."
INGREDIENTS

4 slices maple cured bacon
•
2 tablespoons cake spice
•
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
•
1/4 teaspoon salt
•
1 tablespoon butter
•
1 cup pecan halves
•
1 tablespoon maple syrup
•
1 teaspoon vanilla powder
•
Your favorite flavor of ice cream for serving
