INGREDIENTS
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup water, warmed to about 110 degrees F
1 1/2 tablespoons active dry yeast
1 cup milk, warmed to 110 degrees F
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 cup vegetable oil, plus more, to taste, for greasing the bowl and the loaf pans
6 cups bread flour
butter, optional, melted, to taste
