Ingredients
- 2 cups shaved Parmesan cheese
- 16 ounces dry elbow macaroni
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 5 duck breasts(skin-on), sliced thick
- 2 tablespoons creole seasoning
- 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon poultry seasoning mixed with brown sugar
- 1 large red bell pepper, diced
- 1 medium yellow onion, peeled and chopped
- 6 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- 1 tablespoon margarine
- 1 cup cold heavy cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 8 ounces cream cheese,softened
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup Panko bread crumbs
How To Make triple parmesan duck casserole

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2Coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Add shaved Parmesan cheese.

Step 3Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook macaroni in the boiling water, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite, about 10 to 12 minutes; drain and set aside.

Step 4Heat olive oil in a large deep skillet over medium heat. Add sliced duck breasts and saute for 6 minutes or until duck are tender. Season with creole seasoning, black pepper, and poultry seasoning/brown sugar.

Step 5Stir in diced red bell peppers and chopped yellow onion. Remove from heat. Add 3 tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese; mix well and set aside.

Step 6Heat margarine in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Combine heavy cream, milk, cream cheese, shredded parmesan cheese, and 1 tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese. Stir together and let it simmer for 8 minutes until blended and thickened.

Step 7Add duck mixture and cooked macaroni; mix well until combined. Remove from heat.

Step 8Pour into a prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and remaining grated Parmesan cheese on top.

Step 9Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
