Ingredients
- 8 duck legs
- 1/2 cup Shaoxing wine or dry sherry
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons Hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon hot chili bean paste
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 inch piece ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon Chinese 5 spice
How To Make spicy chinese duck legs

Step 1Place everything except the duck legs in a food processor and process until well blended. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2Place the duck legs skin side up in a baking pan. Pour the blended sauce over the top of the legs. Add a little water into the food processor and swirl it around to catch all the flavorings. Pour the water into the pan with the duck legs but don't submerge the legs.

Step 3Place in oven uncovered for 2 hours basting with the sauce, adding more water if needed.

Step 4Increase the oven to 400 degrees. Stop basting the legs and cook 30 more minutes. Serve.
