Ingredients
- 2 skin on duck breasts
- salt an pepper
- 1/2 cup plum perserves
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon chinese 5 spice
How To Make plum glazed duck breasts

Step 1Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Score the skin of the breast take care not to cut into the meat. Season with salt and pepper.Place over med high heat skin side down and render the fat until the skin is crisp.

Step 2Meanwhile in a small bowl combine the preserves, soy sauce, and five spice powder.

Step 3Turn the breast over anc carefully spoon off most of the fat from the skillet then brush with the plum mixture.

Step 4Transfer the skillet ot the oven and roast until the breast registers 135 degrees. About 7 minutes. Remove from the oven to a cutting board and rest for 5 minutes then slice and serve.
