Ingredients
- 4 large duck legs
- 4 sprigs thyme
- 2 sprigs rosemary
- 2 large bay leaves
- 10 cloves garlic
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 4 cups duck fat
How To Make instant pot duck leg confit

Step 1Select saute' on instant pot and add the duck legs skin side down. Sprinkle with the salt. Let the fat render from the legs browning them and turning them twice. Add the thyme, rosemary, garlic, bay leaves and duck fat.

Step 2If the fat is hardened let it melt to an oil then select pressure cook and place 35 minutes and seal the lid.

Step 3Once the cooking time is done, do a quick release of the pressure. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

Step 4Remove the duck legs from the Instant Pot and place them on a baking sheet. Bake 10 more minutes to crisp up the skin.
