Homemade Jalapeno & Cheese Venison Sausage
Really tasty sausage
3 lbground venison
1 lbground pork
4 Tbspmorton curing salt
2 tspeach onion powder, garlic powder, dry minced onion, ground peppercorns, red pepper flakes, and yellow mustard seed
4 largejalapenos seeded and pureed in food processor
2 cshredded cheddar cheese
How to Make Homemade Jalapeno & Cheese Venison Sausage
- Combine all ingredients except cheese together. Mix well place in refrigerator for 24 hours. Remove from fridge add the cheese and mix for 3 minutes. Place back in refrigerator for 24 more hours.
- Shape into 6 logs. Wrap in foil and place in preheated 250 degree oven and bake for 4 hours turning once.
- Let cool and cut into rounds
