Yummy way to use up some of that venison

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground venison
  • 1 large onion diced
  • 2 tablespoons crisco
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 small can corn undrained
  • 3 cups red skin potatoes diced
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

How To Make ground venison hash

  • Step 1
    Add crisco to large skillet. Add the onion, garlic salt and ground venison and cook until no longer pink.
  • Step 2
    Add the meat mixture to a slow cooker. Add the potatoes, cream of mushroom soup and corn to the slow cooker. Stir well.
  • Step 3
    Cover and cook on low for 6 hours. Add the cheese to the top and replace the lid. Left cook another 15 minutes until cheese is melted.
