Ingredients

  • 4
    duck breasts, boned
  • RELISH

  • 2 c
    chopped raspberries (also can use frozen)
  • 3/4 c
    sweet onion, chopped
  • 4 Tbsp
    raspberry vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp
    fresh sage or 1/2 tsp. dried sage
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    crushed red pepper flakes
  • 3 Tbsp
    creme de cassis
  • MARINADE

  • 1/4 c
    olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp
    chopped fresh or dried sage

How to Make Grilled Duck Breasts w/ Raspberry Relish

Step-by-Step

  1. In a glass bowl combine all ingredients for the relish.
  2. Separate bowl mix all ingredients for the marinade, add 1/3 cup relish mixture to the marinade.
  3. Marinade the duck breasts for 2 - 4 hours, and turning.
  4. Grill duck breasts skin side down over a hot heat 5 - 7 minutes. Duck should be served med-rare.
